Integrated Systems Europe 2018 kicks off today. The world’s largest Smart Home Install and Integrated Audio Visual exhibition promises to the best yet. The show is massive this year, a clear indication of how manufacturers are meeting the public’s hunger for innovative technology products for home and work.
Top of the bill has to be the groundbreaking advancements in Voice control. Companies such as Google, Amazon and soon Apple have paved the way in developing efficient voice control platforms with consistent voice recognition performance. However while these manufactures have talked about delivering whole home control there is often a discord between the marketing and the reality.
In step some of the premier brands in the AV/Smart Home industry. ELAN, SAVANT and Origin Acoustics are experienced in integrated control having made the most of mobile handheld devices such as SmartPhones and Tablets over the past few years.
Alongside this are developments and innovations in may areas of the industry. Mike Blackman, managing director of ISE, outlines major additions to the 2018 event including the new hall 15, an expanded schedule of events and his prediction for this year’s visitor figures.
